Sutro Baths is a gem of a spot for a photo session. Shiba, Joe, and I got lucky with a perfect golden hour - it was one of those few “t-shirt” days that San Francisco gets in the year. But whatever the weather’s mood is, that place has so much to offer - ocean beach, a cave, rock and concrete formations to climb, birds, stairs, cypress trees. Just make sure to wear comfortable shoes. This session was so much fun!
If you want even more variety of photos, make a stop in the Golden Gate park. Honestly, you can't go wrong with any spot there. We picked the Dutch Windmill. The tulip garden turned out to be closed, but that didn't stop us from creating beautiful photos! If your doing the session in the later afternoon, I recommend doing this stop first, so that you have the best light close to sunset at Sutro Baths.
